Shell Integration

At install time, the Excelsior Delivery package uses the File Associations support to associate itself with the Excelsior Delivery Project files, which have the “.eit” and “.eiu” extensions. The item Excelsior Delivery is added to the Windows Explorer context menu. It includes three subitems:

• Create Project: open Excelsior Delivery Packager, add to the package a file or contents of folder which selected in Windows Explorer, and automatically set the main installation settings.
• Build Package: start Excelsior Delivery Packager in the batch mode, create project for a file or folder which selected in Windows Explorer, and build the installation package. The lightweight progress dialog is used to control build process.
• Build and Run Package start Excelsior Delivery Packager in the batch mode, build installation package for a file or folder which selected in Windows Explorer, run package and quit.
