Excelsior Installer helps you create installation packages for your Windows applications. It supports the most common installation scenario:

• Display a splash screen (optional)
• Display a license agreement and require the user to accept it before
  proceeding (optional)
• Let the user select the installation folder
• Copy all application's files and folders into the selected folder
• Create shortcuts in standard locations (Start Menu, Desktop, Startup Menu)
• Create a registry entry for the application (optional)
• Register an uninstaller
• Run typical post-install actions (optional)

We tried to create an easy to use installation authoring software that would enable you to prepare your first installation in less than ten minutes and re-package it in two mouse clicks after updating any of your application's files.

Yes, Excelsior is a business, so we have to care about turnover and profit, and we are developing this product with an intention to earn money. BUT we have made a decision to keep the entry-level version of Excelsior Installer, which supports the above simple installation scenario, free indefinitely, regardless of how we change and improve this product in the future.
